HSBC lance une augmentation de capital de près de 18 mrds de USD et supprime 6100 emplois

·         Pas bon ! : DJ -1.7%, S&P500 -2.4%, NASDAQ -2.4%, NIKKEI -3.8% et EUROSTOXX -2.2% et en baisse de 3.5% en ce moment.

·         BANCAIRES : HSBC lance une augmentation de capital de près de 18 mrds de USD et supprime 6100 emplois. FORTIS : un accord serait proche entre BNPPARIBAS et l’Etat belge (pour le 6 mars). PETERCAM : Geert Noels s’en va. CITIGROUP : l’Etat monte à hauteur d’environ 36% dans le capital. AIG : l’Etat injecte encore 30 mrds de USD ; on approche les 100 mrds de USD.

·         ECONOMIE US : le PIB a plongé de 6.2% au Q4 (trimestre sur trimestre annualisé). En cause, la consommation et les investissements; la composante ‘exportations nettes’ a un peu moins souffert.

·         GENERAL ELECTRIC : réduit son dividende pour la première fois depuis…1938 afin de préserver son credit rating mais suffira-ce ?

·         Le VIX (indice de volatilité des actions américaines) remonte à 46.4. L’or est en rebond à 958.1 USD l’once et le pétrole (BRENT CRUDE SPOT) progresse légèrement à 45.1 USD. Le USD est en baisse face à l’ EUR à 1.266. Le spread CMS 10-2 ans est en BAISSE à 1.34. Les CMS 5 ans est à 2.76 et le 3 ans à 2.351.
