Poursuite de la baisse des prix à la production en vue

·       Pessimisme triomphe sur les marchés: DJ -1.8%, S&P500 -2.3%, NASDAQ -2.1%, NIKKEI -1.5% et EUROSTOXX -1.5% et en baisse de 2,1% en ce moment

·       FORTIS reprend sa cotation et progresse d’une quinzaine de pourcents. Les 2 prochaines semaines vont être chaudes au moins sur ce dossier. Le patron de Ping An quitte le Conseil d’Administration. Ailleurs, tout est négatif.

·       L’Euro est tombé au plus bas depuis mois face au USD dans la perspective d’une annonce demain d’un poursuite de la baisse des prix à la production, ce qui donne de l’air à la BCE pour réduire davantage son taux directeur alors que les dernières déclarations de Trichet étaient, comme à l’accoutumée, peu tranchées.

·       La formation d'un nouveau gouvernement en Islande a été annoncée dimanche par la sociale-démocrate Johanna Sigurdardottir, 66 ans, nommée Premier ministre, qui a assuré qu'il se mettrait immédiatement au travail pour surmonter la grave crise que traverse l'île. La devise (ou ce qui en reste) réagit positivement à la nouvelle.

·        Le VIX (indice de volatilité des actions américaines) remonte légèrement à 44.8. L’or reste en forme à 912 USD l’once ainsi que le pétrole à 46.8 USD. Le USD remonte face à l’EUR à 1.274. Le spread 10-2 ans poursuit sa normalisation à 1.46. Le taux CMS 5 ans est en baisse à 3.0.
